Job description

  • You give input (effort estimations, prelim architecture estimations) to the CTO/CEO who use this to make (internal/external) proposals
  • Based on the functional specifications, you write the technical specifications (internal software design & architecture document) for your development projects.
  • You present & defend these technical specifications towards the CTO/CEO.
  • After consensus on the technical specifications, you perform the implementation and provide feedback regarding planning.
  • After programming, you document the software for the (end)users.
  • You deliver input regarding best choice for
  • Programming environments (Microsoft Visual Studio, PERL...)
  • Version Control Management
  • Development methodology
  • Documenting the way of working and make & keep-up-to-date a (poster size) schematic (using Microsoft Visio) of the development environment.
  • You coordinate with the operations officer regarding testing and installation of new software in the live environment.

Profile

  • You have a few years experience.
  • You report to the CTO, work transparently and have an open mind.
  • You have experience in Microsoft SQL Server, .NET programming, web service development, HTTP, XML.
  • You work together with the CTO to formulate a product roadmap, planning, and give input for functional specifications...realistic planning is very important with regards to deadlines towards customers.
