Be-Mobile was started in November 2006 by TC-Matix, a holding company investing in traffic technology and also shareholder of the traffic management company Flow N.V..
By two consecutive capital raises Touring, the leading Belgian motorist club, became 50% shareholder of Be-Mobile, soon after they merged Touring Mobilis, the traffic information unit of Touring, with Be-Mobile.
Over the last two years Be-Mobile has heavily invested in the roll-out of the Benelux market. As a result, today Be-Mobile has a strong presence in the markets of media, internet, telecom, navigation and government.
Be-Mobile is further expanding its services toward Portugal, Greece, Turkey and other European countries.
